Finding your measurement:
If you have a soft measuring tape, that's the best route to take. If you do not, use a string, phone charging cable, or anything else you can wrap around your head.
How do I measure my/someone else’s head?
Step 1: Wrap the soft tape, string, or cord around your head above your ears and eyebrows, where you your cap usually sits.
Step 2: Double check to make sure the tape comes down far enough at the back of your head, hitting in the right spot.
Step 3: Take note of your measurement in CMs, if using a string or cord, mark where it meets so you can measure it using a traditional tape measure.
Step 4: Refer to the sizing chart above to see where you land.
Are you in between sizes??
For our comfort fit flex back caps, we always recommend sizing down. For our fitted caps, size up for a loose fit and size down if you prefer snug. Caps will usually stretch slightly, but rarely do they shrink.
Will my size be the same as the other caps I purchase from other brands?
Unfortunately there is no universal sizing, so a Medium for one brand might be a small for another. We highly recommend you measure your head to ensure you have an accurate size before ordering from Peaky Hat.

International orders: These orders require additional time and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to the number of variables involved with weather, customs, and local delivery. Please allow for up to 3 weeks for delivery.

We are family run business owned and operated out of Ohio, United States. Our hats are produced across the globe, depending on the style. Currently we have two facilities for fulfillment and warehousing. The majority of our items are located in our Dublin, Ohio facitlity and ship within 3-5 business days. We’ve split the time frame for order delivery into two parts so you can see the journey better:
Processing time – Following order confirmation, quality assurance and packaging, your order will be dispatched from the warehouse within 24-48 hours.
To our best ability;
Orders made Mon-Fri before Noon Eastern will ship same day.
Orders made Fri after Noon Eastern through Sunday will ship Monday.
This excludes holidays and special circumstances.
Shipping time – Once your order is on its way to you, the amount of time it takes depends on where you live and your shipping method. This is shipping time. Deliveries in the US are shipped and arrive in 2-5 days. International delivery can take anywhere between 8–15 business days.
Tracking your Order – This is our way of being with you on the journey and proving to you that we care how long it takes and that we’ll only be satisfied when you have your new item(s).
Occasionally the journey takes longer than expected and we wish it would always be as fast as a Peaky Blinder razor slash. But we do everything in our power to get your order to you on time we work very hard to gain and retain trust. We are not perfect, but we are working our asses off to get there.

Another great hat! Same fit as the Shelby’s Shadow hat. A medium weight fabric which I feel is suitable for late summer/fall weather. I have always liked a classy black hat to wear with casual jeans. The quality is top notch!
Just received my Dark Horse and am thrilled with it! The official 5th in my Peaky collection. One of the interesting things about the DH that I didn’t realize until I held it for the first time is that the bill isn’t a stiff one. Much softer and pliable, seems like a custom designed hat. I needed a black alternative as the weather gets colder here in Texas. But I know it’ll be tough to get the Tommy’s OG off my head when that happens. But it’s all about options. I’ve already had compliments on my charcoal Workman when out at my martial arts studio and the grocery. But the Dark Horse is a bolder cap so I anticipate more on this one. However, the most important thing is my wife likes the Peakys. When the wife is happy, all is right with the world. And after 40 years of marriage that’s a priority. Great cap! Next to the Premium Razor, this has become another favorite from Peaky Hats! Looks great and it’s definitely an Alter Ego cap too!
The Dark Horse delivers on all fronts. The fit is spot on, true to the measurements listed. It felt slightly snug at first (about 0.5cm), but after removing the sizing ribbon, it fit perfectly.
The jet black tweed is rich and refined, with a drape that’s structured but smooth. A worthy evolution of The Street Fighter, The Dark Horse is, “No noise. Just presence.”
