Our caps are sized in CMs to get the best fit. Find your measurement in CMs, then pick a hat size based on that measurement.

Finding your measurement:
If you have a soft measuring tape, that's the best route to take. If you do not, use a string, phone charging cable, or anything else you can wrap around your head.
How do I measure my/someone else’s head?
Step 1: Wrap the soft tape, string, or cord around your head above your ears and eyebrows, where you your cap usually sits.
Step 2: Double check to make sure the tape comes down far enough at the back of your head, hitting in the right spot.
Step 3: Take note of your measurement in CMs, if using a string or cord, mark where it meets so you can measure it using a traditional tape measure.
Step 4: Refer to the sizing chart above to see where you land.
Are you in between sizes??
For our comfort fit flex back caps, we always recommend sizing down. For our fitted caps, size up for a loose fit and size down if you prefer snug. Caps will usually stretch slightly, but rarely do they shrink.
Will my size be the same as the other caps I purchase from other brands?
Unfortunately there is no universal sizing, so a Medium for one brand might be a small for another. We highly recommend you measure your head to ensure you have an accurate size before ordering from Peaky Hat.

Chest Size (bust): Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body, crossing over the fullest part of your chest.
Shoulder Size (shoulder to shoulder): Using a measuring tape, measure the width of your shoulders from the back of your body (from shoulder blade to shoulder blade).

When it comes to shipping we work hard to optimize the process, which includes daily deliveries to numerous customers around the world. This means that we keep our eye on quality while finding you the fastest and most affordable options and of course being responsive to you every step of the way.
We are family run business owned and operated out of Ohio, United States. Our hats are produced across the globe, depending on the style. Currently we have two facilities for fulfillment and warehousing. The majority of our items are located in our Dublin, Ohio facitlity and ship within 3-5 business days. We’ve split the time frame for order delivery into two parts so you can see the journey better:
Processing time – Following order confirmation, quality assurance and packaging, your order will be dispatched from the warehouse within 24-48 hours. An additional 2-4 days is taken by the shipping company to get the order ready for shipping.
To our best ability;
Orders made Mon-Fri before Noon Eastern will ship same day.
Orders made Fri after Noon Eastern through Sunday will ship Monday.

Shipping time – Once your order is on its way to you, the amount of time it takes depends on where you live and your shipping method. This is shipping time. Deliveries in the US are shipped and arrive in 2-5 days. International delivery can take anywhere between 8–15 business days.

I've been wearing these types of caps since I was 15. I'm 43 now. Newsboy caps, Baker Boy caps, and other flat cap variations. I've tried super premium handmade hats and dozens of cheap versions from Amazon. This is by far the best I have found, especially for under $100. The fabric is much less prone to getting dirty, it's durable, while also breathable (I live in Louisiana where it's hot most of the year). Leather brim and button accents give it a very bespoke look. I've just ordered my 2nd one, and I'm sure I'll be ordering more. One note on sizing: with most hat brands, I wear a Medium or Large. My head measures 58.5 cm. Peaky Hats lists their Small as 57-58cm. I've tried both their Small and Medium. The Small was a little snug at first, but not uncomfortable, and it has stretched some. The Medium looked fine, but one gust of wind would take it right off. Im also bald, so that factors into it as well. Hope this is helpful info for someone. My wishlist request: the ability to customize colors/fabrics on the brims, buttons, and cap itself. I'm sure that's not an easy ask, but with enough success, maybe someday!
